The Hyperion: Creators

The Hyperion: Tales from Hell is an anthology project co-edited by authors Suzanna Lundale and Marc Tizura.

Suzanna Lundale is a lifelong writer and observer of the world who grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and has made her home in many places since. She is passionate about language, history, travel, dogs, and the loved ones – real and imagined – who form her galaxy. Suzanna’s Latinx/Scandinavian-American heritage, and her identity as a witch, contribute to the complexity of her worldview and her interest in questions of identity and liminal spaces. Suzanna has been featured as a special guest poet in The Crow’s Quill, and has work appearing in several publications in Fall 2022. Marc Tizura is a Chicago-based, part-time Actor/Voice actor, author of short stories in the horror, speculative, fantasy, sci-fi and comedy genres, scriptwriter, YouTuber, paranormal enthusiast, and former ghost hunter with a deep love of history and mythology, and an odd interest in hypnosis. He is also the Creator and operator of #tfteotw and End of the World Productions Ltd. Marc currently staff writes for two digital Rewritten Realms publications: In The Pantheon, where he writes for Thanatos, the God of Death, and In the Crescent, where he writes for the Crossroads Demon, Dr. John Lafayette. Teresa Berkowitz is a writer and poet from Portland, Maine. She grew up in a family of storytellers. She believes that the greatest truths can be found in fiction and real life can be strangely surreal and dramatic. Her work has been published in literary journals and anthologies. Teresa is founder and editor of TangledLocksJournal.com , an online literary journal. Jaime Bree’s love of writing grew during her time at Cambridge University while studying a B.Ed in Drama. Whist her day job sees her successfully writing and directing stage productions for children, at night, her other writing life concentrates on sci-fi, fantasy and much darker themes. She surprises herself sometimes where her characters take her and loves how deeply involved she can get in creating the visuals for new worlds. She believes losing yourself in a story is a must. It’s exciting to put words on a page that can do this.



Laura Cooney is a multi genre writer whose work has featured widely in such places as The Unconventional Courier, Authora Australis, Spare Parts Lit, Heartbalm, Roi Faineant and The VoidspaceZine. Andrew is a self-published, multi-genre writer, and published poet. His first novel asks how far one demi-god will go to save his way of life-after-death from mortal management consultants. In the second book, a woman haunted by her failures, and resentful of her robotic implants, must grudgingly solve a murder. Alex Holmes is the author of a number of short stories and poems in multiple anthologies, as well as a series of full-length erotic novels. A musician, songwriter, and producer, he is perhaps best known as the guitarist with UK gutter-sleaze punks The Suicide Notes, along with the occasional off-piste rock project Antifashion and the rock n’ roll and Motown band Badmonkey. He writes for a number of UK-based music magazines and websites, and is also the co-owner of The Three Horseshoes public house in his hometown in Oxfordshire, UK.



Mila H likes writing all genres and has mostly written non-fiction biographies. She’s also written some fiction and some fan fiction. Poetry is a more recent pursuit, nourished by Twitter prompts that have peaked her interest. Similarly, prompts have shown Mila a new side of herself in horror writing. She’s found it exciting to go deep within and explore the darkness she didn’t know she had. Mila lives in London, England, and did Journalism course many years ago, and, more recently, has undertaken a writing course. Mila’s legal day job tends to take up most of her time.


IrrationalPoet is a beautiful construct for a neurodiverse poet. A lifelong struggle to fit in has gifted her with a very different perspective on life. Writing since a child, she says what she feels and spins tales of the darker side of things. Her favorite poets are Ezra Pound and Sylvia Path. Jessica E. Laymon is a Southern horror writer with a penchant for the dark, the foreboding, and the paranormal. She is a nighttime storyteller and mom, attempting to break out of purgatory one word at a time. She’s a @Fastprompt and @VSSParanormal host and Twitter short story writer and poet. She does her best to weave tales of what goes bump in the night so as to frighten her readers and inspire others to do the same.



Jae Margal An unmuted writer of twisted and graphic fantasy, Jae Margal grew up and lives in the beautiful state of never-ending blue skies California. Attracted to the obscure and fantastical at a young age, she naturally gravitated towards folklore and mythology. Her words have been featured in publications for Rewritten Realms, and her children’s book: “Bumpy’s The Boogie Man and The Guest.” Currently working on book two of her Epic Dark Fantasy series, “Bloody Trail”—she believes imagination is succumbing to the unlimited wonders waiting to be explored and written.


FK Marlowe is a Shropshire lass now living in Vancouver, via Leeds, London and Beijing. She has 3 dazzlingly brilliant daughters, one long-suffering husband, and a rescue dog smarter than the whole family put together. Marlowe has a horrible imagination which she often allows out on a run, like the dog, to keep it healthy. She also writes YA fantasy of the darker shade. S. C. Morgan lives in Ontario, Canada with his family spending his days working for a bank and most nights putting pen to paper. Tess P. published ‘Secret Whispers’ in 2021 – a delicious collection of light/dark poetry. C.E. Wallace is a Paraguayan-born poet and musician based in New York. By day, she runs a school for migrant children awaiting reunification with their families in the U.S. By night, she writes and makes music with her husband and very spoiled cat. Her first book, Juego de Palabras, will be published in May 2023 by Valparaíso Ediciones. She is currently working on two new books – Seven Legendary Monsters, a Paraguayan mythology epic, and The Arcana, a poetic take on the tarot.
